false expenses claims made by employees
At least £1bn per year is being paid out in false expenses according to an expenses management firm. GlobalExpense analysed data from 4.8 million expense claims from over 100,000 employees in 140 companies. They estimate about 12% fell outside the companies guidelines.
"Companies and organisations are throwing away money by failing to check claims," said David Vine GlobalExpense managing director.
